Built in Winnipeg · For Canadian businesses
Know exactly how your business is doing. Without hiring anyone to tell you.
A bookkeeper costs hundreds a month. EasyBooks costs less than a tank of fuel — and it does the work itself. Snap a receipt and bin it. Send an invoice and get paid. See your real numbers on a dashboard that updates as you go. No accounting knowledge needed.

Rather not wait? Pick a plan and start today
- No card needed to start
- From $9.99 a month after
- Stop whenever you like
Easy enough that you'll use it
No chart of accounts, no debits and credits, no training. If you can send an email, you can run this.
Ready if the CRA asks
Every receipt kept six years, every figure traceable to the document behind it. A review becomes a search.
Less than an hour of bookkeeping
From $9.99 a month, all in — about what most people spend on coffee in a week.
It does the work, not you
Receipts read themselves, invoices chase themselves, tax adds itself up. You check it and carry on.
You didn't start a business to do paperwork at the kitchen table.
- The receipts are in the truck, the jacket, a drawer somewhere.
- The GST deadline arrives before the number does.
- An invoice from six weeks ago, and no idea if they opened it.
- The mileage reconstructed in April from memory.
- And no honest answer to "how is the business actually doing?"
A bookkeeper solves all of that for $300–600 a month. EasyBooks solves most of it for the price of a sandwich.
The one habit that pays for itself
Snap it. Bin it. It's a deduction now.
Every receipt you lose is money you've already spent and can't claim. Photograph it at the till and the paper has done its job — no shoebox, no glovebox, no folder on a shelf.
One photo. It fills in the rest.
Supplier, date, amount and a suggested category all come off the picture. You glance at it, fix anything wrong, save. Nothing is filed behind your back.
- Forward a receipt email and it joins the same review queue
- Set the business share of a mixed expense — 60% of a phone bill, say — and only that part is claimed
- Stored six years, searchable by supplier or date
Put it on your phone's home screen
No app store needed. Add EasyBooks once and snapping a receipt is two taps, straight from the till.
iPhone
- Open EasyBooks in Safari
- Tap the Share button
- Choose Add to Home Screen
Android

What you actually do with it
Money in, money out, and the truth in between.
Most of it runs on its own once it’s set up. The rest takes seconds.
Invoices that get paid
Itemised, your logo on them, emailed as a PDF with a Pay button. You can see when it was opened — so "I never got it" stops being a conversation.
Reminders that chase for you
Overdue invoices get a polite nudge on a schedule you set. You stop being the one asking, and you get paid sooner.
Recurring invoices
Same client, same amount, every month. Set it once and each invoice goes out on its own without you touching it.
Income, however it arrives
Cash, e-transfer, a job paid on the spot. Log it in seconds with a photo of the proof — it counts the same as an invoice.
Expenses, split honestly
The phone that's 60% work, the vehicle that's 40% personal. Claim the business share only, so the deduction holds up.
Mileage at the CRA's rate
Logged as you go rather than guessed at in April — which is always a low guess. With a warning if a vehicle cost is about to be counted twice.
A dashboard that's current
Income, expenses, what you're owed, what you owe, GST set aside — updating as you work. The answer to "can I afford this?", today.
Quotes and bills
Send a quote a customer accepts online and turn it into an invoice in a click. Track what you owe suppliers in the same place.
Reports anyone can read
An income statement on screen, printable, or as a CSV for whoever does your return. Real figures, not a chart to interpret.
Your customers' card payments settle into your own bank account — never through a BOGS balance, so there's nothing to wait for and nobody to chase for a payout. We take no percentage of what you collect, on any plan. You pay your card processor's fee and nothing else.

Questions
Do I need to know bookkeeping?
No, and that's the point. No chart of accounts, no debits and credits. You record money in and money out in plain language; the accounting happens behind it.
Is the free trial really free?
Fourteen days, no card asked for, nothing charged. If you do nothing at the end it simply stops — there is no automatic billing to cancel.
Can I throw the paper receipt away?
The CRA accepts electronic images of receipts provided they are readable and kept for six years, which is what EasyBooks does with them. Keep the paper if your own circumstances call for it — and if in doubt about your situation, ask us.
Does it work in every province?
Every province and territory. You set yours once, and GST, HST and provincial sales tax follow — including billing a client in a different province from your own.
What happens to my data if I stop?
You can export everything as CSV for as long as your subscription is active, including the month you cancel in. Do that before the month ends and you keep a full copy of your records.
How do customers pay me by card?
You connect your own payment account once, and every invoice then carries a Pay button. The money settles into your bank, and we take no cut of it.
Can I hand it all to BOGS instead?
Yes. Plenty of people start by doing it themselves and later decide they'd rather not. Our bookkeeping service is a separate arrangement, and we pick up from whatever you've recorded.
Can I change plan later?
Any time, up or down. Nothing you've already recorded is affected by moving between plans.
The part most tools get wrong
Built for Canadian tax, not adapted to it.
Most small-business software is built for somewhere else and localised afterwards. You notice the moment you need a GST/HST figure, a PST split, or a per-kilometre rate the CRA will accept. EasyBooks is made by a bookkeeping firm that files these returns, for people who have to file them too.
Your province's rate, automatically
5% GST, 13% in Ontario, 15% through most of Atlantic Canada. Bill a client elsewhere and the invoice uses theirs.
PST and RST kept separate
In BC, Saskatchewan and Manitoba it has no input tax credit, so it gets its own line rather than being folded in.
A GST/HST worksheet, always current
Collected, credits, net owing — running all year rather than assembled the week it’s due.
Six years of records, ready if asked
How long the CRA can come back. Every figure traces to the document behind it.
In development — not released yet
The EasyBooks app
If you drive for a living, this will be the whole product.
Rideshare and delivery drivers, couriers, mobile trades — people whose biggest deduction is the kilometres and whose receipts live on the passenger seat. The app will track the driving and take the photo, without opening a browser.
- Trips logged as you drive, at the CRA per-kilometre rate
- Personal or business — set the hours you work and the rest stays private
- Snap a receipt at the pump without opening a browser
- A daily review feed — a minute after a shift, not a weekend in April
Until it ships, mileage and receipts work today in your browser, and the home-screen shortcut above puts both two taps away.
You could be invoicing in ten minutes
- Start your free trial. Fourteen days, no card. Look around properly first.
- Send your first invoice. Add your details and logo as you go — there's no setup to finish first.
- Keep it if it's earning its keep. Pick a plan at the end. Card details are entered on a secured payment page, never on our site.
Who this is for
- Small and medium-sized businesses
- Self-employed people and sole traders
- For-profit corporations
- Non-profit corporations and charities
- Rideshare, delivery and courier drivers
- Trades, consultants, cleaners, contractors
Especially if a bookkeeper isn't in the budget yet — but knowing where you stand still is.
